How It Works

At last! A delicious, stress-free, healthy answer to that age-old question, "What's for dinner?" Cuisine by Claire does it all for you!

At an initial meeting in your home, we'll discuss your food preferences, get familiar with your kitchen, review service plans and determine which service option best fits your household. We'll then agree on a schedule and before each cooking day, if desired, I'll submit a menu for approval.

On your service day I'll shop for your menu and come to your home with my own pans, utensils, etc. to prepare your selected dishes, usually staying about six hours. Standard service includes all meal planning, grocery shopping, food preparation, packaging, and clean-up. Meals are then stored in your refrigerator and freezer with clear instructions for reheating and serving. (Meal delivery option available - additional charges may apply.)

Sample Spring/Summer Dishes:

  • Pan-seared salmon filet with sorrel-spinach sauce and rice pilaf
  • Dungeness crab cakes with remoulade and poppyseed-dill corn muffins
  • Pancetta-wrapped halibut on a ragout of corn, zucchini, mushrooms, leeks and red bell pepper, drizzled with white wine and cream pan sauce
  • Lasagna Primavera - organic whole wheat pasta with spring vegetables
  • Asparagus, snap pea and mushroom risotto with saffron
  • Poulet Marengo, free-range chicken braised in white wine with mushrooms, tomatoes, tarragon and orange zest
  • Mediterranean meatballs, grass-fed beef with fresh mint, cinnamon and pine nuts, served with fragrant pearl couscous
  • Free-range chicken cacciatore on garlic mashed potatoes
  • Spinach, leek and potato frittata with local farmstead cheese
